Nothing against MJ fans, but why are you bragging about MJ in nearly every post? You've been a member for about two weeks. I haven't disappeared at all, I have admitted that it could be a long season for Gallatin with the way injuries are going. I get in a couple posts per week so how have I disappeared? And I don't recall saying anything like that to Bkisler, one of the better posters on this board. And I wouldn't, cause he isn't as much of a bragger. & no matter how your team is doing, try to stay humble.

You have got to be kidding and yes I do recall that post. I usually try to speak my mind with little bias, and truthfully. I predicted my team to lose......LOSE......LOSE against Blackman, if i was such a glory-hunter then why would I say such a thing? How in the world can I have the status of a bragger? Sure i have lost my cool on here a few times because certain people need a dose of their own medicine. However, Im far from an annoying bragger about my team. Sure, call me annoying based off my posts and realism. Do not just randomly come up with some comeback that isn't true. I called you out, its reasonable to have backlash from someone you call out, which i was mainly picking at you, but the response you had was inaccurate.

Feel how you want, I'm really not that interested in having a keyboard arguement on a football board... Good luck to MJ this Friday night, hope y'all win it but it's gonna be a tough one. Maybe my team can squeeze out a win this year. Very hard to watch them knowing that not too long ago (around 3 years ago and almost any year prior to that) Gallatin was a threat to whoever they played every Friday night. Now they seem like an easy win on a teams schedule. They need some change plain and simple. Too much of a good ol' boy system. So there. That's my post for the week. Happy?

    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
    • He was pretty darn good for a freshman, but he will have a hard time seeing the field at Oakland for a good while, I’m afraid.
    • Dang I feel bad for the kid. I’m sure he loves his dad and wants to do anything for his dad but I don’t think he realizes his dad isn’t doing the best for his football career if he keeps jumping schools.
    • I’m not taking shots at the kid, but “athlete” is not something I would use to describe him. He was a long, lengthy, defensive back
