kazam37
Less than 48 hours.......not a lot of conversation from Rockwood faithful. I wish the chatter on here was a little more "busy".....seems some teams have dropped quite the gag order on their followers. As long as I don't give anyone the keys to the "Bunker", I usually enjoy talking about the next weeks prospects. Oh well.....? It a good thing we ain't playing Midway them SOR Boys have gone in deep seclusion.....! Pujo will enliven things next week though....always look forward to Hampton conversation because it is always in line and straight up legit with them. kazanity

I love this site and I like to support our Coaches and kids. Oneida is my favorite game on the schedule. Just wish neither of us had to travel so far. Ialso think this years game will be more like the games of the past. Its usually a fight to the finish.
kazam37
I agree....and I can't help but to think that is a reflection of the communities that support these two teams. Your always at the mercy of the quality of athlete you have from year to year. Usually we (and you) can scrape up enough to field a legitimate team, but I remember some lean years too! Of course, if you don't win the Gold Ball then I guess they are all "lean" except one. Then again, there is something to be said when your team earns a District Title too. Looks like I might have to come up with the crew if they can fit me in the luggage compartment....or hitch hike? Kaz

He was always one of my favorites on here. As far as success goes, its getting the most out of the limited talent you have . Actually the biggest thing is molding these kids into successful adults. The one's who learn Comittment ,dedication and disapline have a much better chance in life, without these qualities, its a pretty tough road. High school Football is ALOT more than Friday nights. Everything has been hush-hush instead hut-hut. Most of what I've found out has come from CoachT via posts from fans like you guys.
goosevol
Rockwood had better hang on to the football if they want to win. In their first scrimmage at Cookeville, they had a lot of yards, but a lot of turnovers. In scrimmage number two against Sunbright, no turnovers and scored on every possession. In their last scrimmage against Scott, it was a lot like scrimmage number one, lots of yards and lots of turnovers. Had another turnover in the jamboree. I'm saying they'll have their stick-em on Friday night and I'm expecting a dandy of a game. Edited August 22, 2014 by goosevol

SportsnetWriter2
RudyWasOffsides- you have the best profile picture on CoachT lol! Far as the game goes, you can expect it to be a pretty good one! Last year it was one of the best games I saw all year! I think this year could be something simliar, but I would have to give the edge to Oneida. Rockwood hasn't totally been what I expected so far, but with Coach Webb you can never overlook the Tigers. I'll take Oneida 28-6. Good luck to both teams as each has class act coaching staffs!
wpasi
Goose do you have any stickem left over from the 70's? if so we need to dunk them boys in it. RHS 19 OHS 13 Love them Tigers!
