Beech visits Henry County

Now I'm more confused.

 

Some say Beech, some say Hendersonville Beech, and now "Just Beech". What's a guy to think?

Technically it's Beech Senior High School. BSHS has a nice ring to it.

The YANKER has taken a long time to recover from last week. I am not surprised that my beloved Cougars lost but the margin of victory was disappointing to this loyal YANKER. The HC loss to the "YANKER despised" team from Liberty was shocking and hard to swallow.....BUT.....today is a new day!  The all important scores will be as follows.....JCM 32-Fayette Ware 20.......HC 24-Beech 7.............I AM THE WORLD'S ONLY LIVING YANKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, gameday is on us again! Another hot and steamy day that will probably linger into the night. Nonetheless, I am ready for "Just Beech" to roll into Patriot Stadium and meet us on the gridiron for another great battle. Looking forward to this one, and looking forward to the tasty tailgating that will be open to any Beech fans that want to join in.

HC took a tough loss last week from a very talented Liberty team. Difference in the game was a breakdown on special teams, with the Patriots running out of time at the 5 yd line. It wasn't a blow out.

 

For as much trouble as our offensive front line had with what I think was one of the best defensive lines I have seen, they will progressively get better each week.

 

No need to hit the panic button just yet, this HC team will be a lot better at the end of the season, going to have to grind it out a little this year.

I am going out on a limb this week but I believe with the eye opener HC had last week and the hard work put in that this week will not be a contest. I am going HC 35-Beech 14.

Offense still didn't look great. And yet again, the D gave up 2 big plays but played excellent outside of that. Special teams gave up another return on the opening kickoff. Offense did wake up in the 4th with some big runs, and ill gladly take the W. Good game Beech.

This defense is going to do good things.  Offense will get a lot better.  We're ok.
