Week 2: Maryville at Knox West

Yep. Congrats to Maryville. Dominant 2nd half effort, but West has nothing to hang their heads about. Very talented, tough football team.

I think it's really easy for the average person to nitpick people when they are in the spotlight like that. but the truth is we would all make mistakes just like they do. I was listening to a Tn high school preview before the season started and the guy mentioned that WB and heritage had never had good football teams, which is not true at all. But I didn't get all butthurt and mad over it. I mean the guy was doing a run-down of all the teams in the state, could I have honestly expected him to know everything about all the teams and not make any mistakes? Of course not. I think we have to remember that everyone is human and makes mistakes.

 

 Somehow I'm not surprised that you're ok with Packer ... and I'll remember your "everyone is human and makes mistakes" comment here in a few weeks when you do your yearly meltdown on WB Coaching ... lol ....

Great game but Maryville will have a tough test to get back to Cookeville playing Blackman or Oakland over there this year. West should have an easier road.
