Just watched UC beat Halls(no.2 team in district) 86 to 41. Bumpus and Moffatt just now getting back from football and not in BB shape yet. Stewart may get medical clearance and be back next week. We're nowhere near the team we're going to be coming down the stretch. Barring any bad injuries this is going to be fun to watch.

     Yeah it looks like Mitchell may just have a little comp. Impressive to say the least.

Got to remember we lost by only 10 to Mitchell at there place. This year with what we have; I can see us beating Mitchell in the Boro. And even better it could be for the state championship. The talent we have plus the addition of Parker Stewart; just made the odds even better.

I didn't see him on the team last night. He had a great season in football and may be putting everything into that for next year.

What is their schedule for the Poplar Bluff tourney next week?

UC plays Forrest City, Ark on Monday night at 8:30pm...Tourney runs Mon., Tues. and Wed...

 

UC will either play 4pm or 8:30pm on Tuesday...They will play either Christian Brothers (15-0) or Mem. Overton (10-3)...

 

The other bracket has Poplar Bluff playing B.T. Washington and Har-Ber, Ark. playing Grenada, MS....

Yea they always put Popular Bluff in the easier bracket but UC will take em as they come..it wont be our fault just their turn..I belive uc can win that thang!

Congratulations to Marcus Deberry on getting an offer from Northern Arizona today. Freed Hardeman and UT Martin have also offered and some teams are showing interest.More to follow with the Poplar Bluff Showdown and the Mccracken County Hoopfest coming up.Also Malik Stockdale and Donte Simpson getting some interest.Good Luck fellows as I know how hard these guys work and how bad they want to play on the next level but I know right now their main goal is to get to the State Tournament and win a Gold Ball.
