Polk County at McMinn Central

It would be very good for Polk to go down to 2A. I'd be happy with that,PCHS could possibly be a Playoff contender every season. Thanks for telling me the radio station that carries MC games online!

There are some pretty good teams in all sports that Polk would see in 2A.

Of the two radio stations mentioned, definitely listen to WCPH 1220AM. You can even listen to the game live through them on your computer like logcabinman said. Billy Joe is somewhat of a Central homer at times, but the other guy on the FM station sounds like a high school kid and he almost hyperventilates.

I'll listen to the game on WCPH online because I can't catch 99.5 in Ducktown.

It wouldn't be a good drop down to 2A if Alcoa drops down also.  I'd have to look at the latest enrollment numbers, but Alcoa was always on the 2A/3A bubble in the old system.

The rescue squad usually does a pretty good job.  I usually stay around for a while so I avoid the mess.

I want to say this is a perfect game for Polk to wreck it for  McMinn Central but I just can not.  They are young and don't have the fire power.  that being said MC better not lay it on the ground much and let Polk have the ball for long periods of time.

Hopefully if Polk goes down to 2A eventually the rivalry with Copper Basin can be renewed. I wish the Cougars played them this season!

This is always a good rivalry game.  Fish - This team lost, I think 5 seniors from last year, but returned a lot of talent with a lot of experience.
