Maybe the type of guys TSU could realistically get from Pearl-Cohn aren't the type of players they want. Like TSU likely knew darn well they couldn't get Tiny Richardson or Beard or John Henderson, but those are the types of players they want, but if they KNOW SEC schools got their eyes on them, why offer. Conversely, however, maybe the guys from Pearl that are OVC, SWAC, SoCon level are simply looked at like lesser than those players of that class that reside in Alabama or Georgia or Florida or Texas in the Staff opinion... Just my guess.

Senator you are probably right but in my opinion TSU really doesn't even look at the Nashville public schools like they should. It at least appears as though if they can't get D1 talent then they would rather have a kid from Florida or California than their own back yard.

WUXP (channel 30 - (14 on comcast)) still shows this for Friday night.  PC vs. East should be their game.

Think they scheduled there games before the season starts. But yeah this is the game of the week in any class.
