Collinwood (3-1) vs. Summertown (2-2)

Summertown wins by 2 over Collinwood

Loretto wins by 2 over Wayne County

And Loretto was lucky to win by two tonight as well as against Summertown.  Loretto has really struggled the last two games with their shooting.  The good thing is we came out of both games with a win, not sure how, but we will take them.  I thought the new floor might have thrown the boys off against Summertown but we shot just as bad at Waynesboro.  Again a win is a win. Need to get things back together because Friday night Loretto goes to Collinwood.

This game coming up on Friday night in Summertown is probably the biggest game of the year so far for Linden. They have a chance to be in sole possession of third place at least for another day and plus after Friday's game they go to Collinwood on Tuesday then that Friday head to Loretto. A very pivotal three game stretch for Linden coming up starting on Friday night in Summertown. After the first half of the District schedule, here's how it's shaping up:

 

1. Loretto- (5-0)

2. Collinwood- (3-2)

3. Perry Co.- (3-2)

4. Summertown- (3-2)

5. Waynesboro- (1-4)

6. Clifton- (0-5)

Collinwood beats Loretto 60 to 56

I just want to go on record to say Perry County was just robbed.

Perry Co always think they get robbed instead of beat!

Bogus Lane violation call, everyone knows it. And the foul that was called to put him on the line in the first place was pretty terrible itself. But you give a team 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances when they are down by 1 with a second to play they will eventually get there.

Bogus technical foul call with Stown up by 3 and 40 sec left. That set Perry Co up to take the lead. Guess the two bogus calls cancel out.

That's funny cause I remember a similar type T being called on PC when they had a 4 point lead, that gave Stown 4 free throws and the ball back.

Yep it was a spicy game. Gonna be a great rest of the season and one heck of a district tournament!
