I am really shocked that someone from "LORETTO" hasn't chimed in regarding the grammatical handicap spewing out from the west. Anyway, Collinwood did out shoot Summertown for sure. Summertown did not fire the ball well from any level on the floor. That was the only way in which the eagles were out played. Of course that's the best way to beat them too.

I think Perry County has a good team with some good talent, but not enough to "beat the brakes" off even Frank Hughes. Scott is one of the hardest playing guys you will find at the high school level. While he makes mistakes and has bad nights, his level of desire to win is something that can't be coached, and garners respect at the very least from any fan of class, no matter how you feel about Summertown.....which I don't get the hate shown here lately anyway.

I was impressed by the overall level of play of all the teams except possibly PCarrow-10x10.png...but I guess Loretta just isn't the team they want to see but from all the squawking on here I look forward to the PC Summertown game as well as the championship

For some odd reason, every time Linden plays Loretto it's like something inside the Mustangs come alive and they make every single shot that they throw up. It's not like Linden's playing bad defense it's just the Mustangs have made 32 three pointers in the three games that they have played. Most of them have a guy in their face and with good contests. The Collinwood and Loretto Championship game tomorrow will be very good in my opinion. A lot better than last years final.

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
