Great man and I am glad both of my sons played for "our" MS coach. He does a lot for those young men and he is not a moron. There are some BAD coaches in sports, I appreciate "our" MS coach. I do not always agree with coaching decisions (with all coaches) but as a leader for these young men he is hard to beat.

Why has everyone diverted to MS football. Our MS coach is a moron. He tries to find one hundred formations and run trick plays rather than teaching how to block and tackle. That is why Alcoa has such a good record in MS and not so much in HS.

 

I know you probably didn't mean this the way it sounded....but, I have to say that I know that coach you are talking about and he is one of the finest men I know.  I wish there were more men like him to be around the kids today.

I agree he is a quality man and a leader of students as people, but he does NOT develop football players. Let me give you an example: Carl Stewart did not play for him in MS. Great man-yes; Good fundamental football coach-NO.

Hope that both MHS and WBHS are able to get healthy before this game. Would like to see all players available for the game Thursday. I can not remember a MHS team this beat up, seems like the walking wounded grows every week. HOPES and PRAYERS for these players (on both sidelines)
