who??? oh u mean 3a manassas...

 

then craigmont wouldnt get the autobid for runner up and they would simply be a wildcard...behind chester co at 7-3...so that only makes their situation worse

If Chester can win Friday they will finish 9-1. If they don't win Friday, I still believe they will beat USJ and McNairy to finish 2nd and 8-2.

In Quad 1 I see it shaking out like this at the end.

 

Fulton #1 seed

Elizabethton #2 seed will move to #5 seed if they lose to South

Greeneville #3 seed will move to #2 if South beats Betsy

Catholic #4 seed will move up if they beat Alcoa

South #5 seed will be #3 seed if they beat Betsy

Scott #6 seed

Carter #7 seed

Sullivan East #8 seed

i hope this doesnt play out like this. i think GHS needs to finish no lower than3 to have a legit shot at seeing fulton for the 5th year in a row....but then again, if our D keeps playing like this it wont matter who we see in the first couple rounds......Good luck to everyones team, hard to beleive we are just 4 weeks away from round one.

was referring to craigmont falling to 7-3...not chester broseph...

 

i agree chester goes 9-1 or 8-2...not sure they make it out of the 1st round tho...gota be 9-1 to find out

its not about who he thinks is going to beat them...it is based on tssaa tiebreakers and seeding strategy

 

 

and liberty is going to beat them brother

 

Liberty and Trezevant will be a very interesting match up... To people in Jackson. Listen, Coach Teli White got them boys from North Memphis ready... I don't see anyone from West of the Tenn beating these guys.

i mean this nicely...but u see the analogy...if u memphis folk would get ur head out of the memphis area...ud recognize that football is being played elsewhere...and @ a high level...hence ur whole thread about whitehaven hasnt fallen off, other teams are getting stronger

 

teams arent just getting better in memphis

 

there is a reason memphis only gets 2 teams in the 4a playoffs and its not because u only have 1 district

the only way Catholic will be higher is if they beat Alcoa. Conference champs are seeded first. That would be Fulton, South/Betsy winner and Greeneville.

      Eagleville hosting shows laziness on the part of the TSSAA and a complete disregard for the appearance of impartiality. Absolutely nothing against EHS. Its not their fault TSSAA is lazy.    I understand EHS staff work the games at Eagleville, and they don’t want to miss the EHS games. However this isn’t rocket science. It would take less than 1 hour to cross-train EHS and RHS volunteers at the opposite sites. If Eagleville (or any host)  makes the tournament, flip their game site and have the volunteers flip sites for the days their school plays at the opposite site. Magically the school’s fans would be present to watch the their kids play and the kids at least lose some familiarity and home field advantage.  It takes almost no effort and is a ~15 minute extra drive.

      From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
