Cookeville @ LaVergne

The Cookeville team this year isn't the typical team they usually have. If they were in 7AAA they would be 4th. They're better than Siegel, Smyrna, Lavergne, & Stewarts Creek IMO.

If you flip the schedules, then I think LaVergne is 7-1 at this point, and Cookeville would be 3-5. The team's are that similar.  LaVergne wins at home.

I've seen the Wolverines several times this year. I watched a couple films of the Cavs from Rhea Co., Warren Co., and I think Cumberland Co. They look big up front. Their back runs ok straight ahead but he doesn't have great moves and he's not a speedster! Team in general not real quick! LaVergne isn't real big up front but overall team speed is above average! They've played some very good teams in their district with some size and speed so I think their ready for tonight! Good luck Wolverines take this BIG WIN!!!

That's funny. Wilson Central and Cookeville had 3 common opponents this season in Lavergne, Cleveland, and Lebanon. One school went 2-1 against those and the other went 1-2.

 

Good luck against Gallatin! A win would help Cookeville's draw in the playoffs.

Cookeville (7-1) comes into LaVergne (3-5) with a decidedly big advantage in the win column. They're also much bigger in the trenches compared to the Wolverines. Most people in the state are probably going with the Cavaliers in this one. I'm going with LaVergne although in the bottom of 7aaa they have some good athletes and compete week in week out with great competition!

That's funny because your team has 4 wins against teams with 7 combined wins. I guess that's what you call stength of schedule. You also wouldn't have won 7 games with Cookeville's schedule because you have already proved that you couldn't beat Cleveland. Somebody struggling with their math.

 

Justice after all? Yeah, I'm sure all of those guys truly regret leaving your wonderful program.
