Well he is just a sophomore and that's what I've chalked it up to. He is the last one. We have a very good freshman QB....very fast.

Where can you plug the freshman in next year? He will always be behind the Rice boy on the depth chart until his senior year, correct?

He is already playing now, but is the back up QB.

The coaches use him as slot receiver, along with #30 Mathis. He is really good in secondary as well.

I see. Your secondary (especially Rice) was fantastic in the CA game.

Wayne Co. has an excellent backfield as long as their hanging onto the ball. You will not stop them from scoring. To beat WC you have to outscore WC..... Their Defense will not allow that. They have some speed to stop ya, ends are quick. You throw anywhere around Rice on defense and he will either intercept or break it up 75-85% of the time and you can bet his Coach will have him covering your best receiver.

Wayne Co. by 2 TD's. Only thing will stop them is themselves in this one.

How's the atmosphere gonna be in Friday night? I'm a little spoiled in the department. I don't think it gets much better than a playoff game (when we are good) in Gordonsville. The South Pitt fans can attest to that.

It gets good in the boro by the creek bank. 8-2 WC team in the playoffs, should be a good crowd. It gets packed and there will WC fans on visitors side against the fence. I know a lot of ppl are excited to be playing a new opponent.

I was describing what I know about WC. I only posted a score predict... Didn't even make a statement about Gordonsville's talent/capabilities.

 

If WC blows them out or not, I was being respectful to other programs either way.

no I would keep an eye on this website http://www.dtc3.tv/sports they will either carry our game or the Dekalb county/Signal Mtn game. It's a fantastic broadcast for people that can't make it out

Thanks for the invite!!  Trying to talk my wife and son into it.  I'll let you guys know if we do it.  What time is kickoff?  Does TSSAA dictate that in the playoffs?
