Well my name's John Lee Pettimore
Same as my daddy and his daddy before
You hardly ever saw Grandaddy down here
He only came to town about twice a year
He'd buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line
Everybody knew that he made moonshine
Now the revenue man wanted Grandaddy bad
He headed up the holler with everything he had
It's before my time but I've been told
He never came back from Copperhead Road
Now Daddy ran the whiskey in a big block Dodge
Bought it at an auction at the Mason's Lodge
Johnson County Sheriff painted on the side
Just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside
Well him and my uncle tore that engine down
I still remember that rumblin' sound
Well the sheriff came around in the middle of the night
Heard mama cryin', knew something wasn't right
He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load
You could smell the whiskey burnin' down Copperhead Road

Johnson County did what they had to do and got in.  Congratulations.  It isn't just anyone who gets to play Alcoa.  Still I don't see them winning this game but still I'll show those boys respect for qualifying for the playoffs.  You won't see any Johnson County people on here running their mouth and they will play hard regardless.  Alcoa could show a wee little respect for the fact that while they are running the football world, other teams are just happy to make it to play them in the post season.

Here's a good Johnson County team of the past:

The 1988 JC Longhorns, AA second round (9-3, much more significant back then with just 3 classifications)

W 21-6 Hampton

W 27-6 South Greene

L 11-19 Mitchell Co., NC

W 35-12 Happy Valley

W 35-0 Chuckey-Doak

W 40-0 North Greene

L 7-21 Cherokee

W 17-12 Unicoi Co.

W 48-0 Holston, VA

W 57-8 West Greene

Playoffs

W 21-17 Knox. Webb (big upset)

L 6-15 ALCOA (state runner-up, lost to Brentwood Academy 23-12, but got revenge 39-22 the next year)

It doesn't look like we will see them on here at all. What kind of internet do they have in Mountain City?

EDIT: I just looked it up. XFINITY from Comcast is available up there.
