I don't care a bit as long as i can get this done by midnight then my wife will be a happy camper. If i stay up too late she turns evil. Good Luck next week against Waynesboro. They will probably be the toughest, hard working, hard hitting opponent you guys have faced all year. Should be a great game. I wanted to pull for my District brethren but since it is in Nashville i just think Nashville Christian Schools size and athleticism will be a little too much but i think it will go down to the wire though. And it wouldn't surprise me if Waynesboro picked up the win. These Waynesboro boys sure know how to win in November.

 

Thanks - I think we will need some luck.  WC is going to be tougher than East Nashville for us.  Scariest thing for me is playing against a coach's son at QB.  I know he's only a sophomore, but he's seen older brothers do this and had lots of coaching from Dad way before getting into high school.  He's smart beyond his years.  Those coach's boys just don't make the mistakes that other QBs do (throwing into coverage, etc.).  Should be a great game.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
