This 2015 pirate team is going to have good team speed, but short on linemen. Good thing our schedule has been reconstructed. LMBO

When the schedule was made the Maynard kid was the qb. Defending the pass has always been our achilles. I would rather have had some work against him than Whitwell. Whitwell is not as good as Hixson even in a down year. Hixsons coach and Coach Ross are friends and wanted this matchup even before last season. We all know the reason Whitwell wanted this game. We take a crowd and that would have been their biggest gate this season. We tried to do a fall scrimmage but they wanted no part of that.

We've played Alcoa maybe 6 or 7 times. Lost some Heartbreakers but handed them one of their worst home field losses ever too. A little known fact to go along with that.... Maryville has never beaten us either. Hahahaha

SP hasn't been beaten by either. It's dumb for SP to play either. Just dumb. The only team that had a chance was 2007 IMO. We will never field another offensive team like 2007. We scrimmage Cascade on 8/7.

SP played them deep in the play-offs in the late 70s and a home-away regular season game in 1980 and 81.  Never played Maryville.  All 3 of those Maryville teams would have monkey stomped any team Jasper had in the 70s except may the Eddy Brown Team.
