im personally glad to have south back on our schedule on a reg basis. should make for a great rivalry

any word on the schedule yet I heard mo west was still on as maybe 1st game any others

I assume south will with Daniel Boone, Tennessee High, and Gate City, VA as their non conference schedule. With Gate City being the week of September 11th like always. South is gate city's best gate sells every year and Gate City is one of south's best as well.

I heard it will be the 1st game for both teams in 2015. Gain nothing huh? I've always really liked that game but I guess I see where you are coming from. To me it is a big gate county line backyard brawl (maybe I shouldn't say that about Boone but I'm not the P.C. Police) which has led to several memorable games in the last 10 years or so. So who would you rather be playing?

We would rather be playing a game we had at least a chance to win, like I don't know, Unaka, North Greene, Sisters of the Twisted Poor, etc...    The last 2 years South has beaten us 98-14

I agree but the TSSAA putting Seymour in our conference made that impossible. TNH , Boone, and Gate City make too much sense from rivalry and geographic perspectives. I know what your AD was probably thinking when he made the decision to stay where you were placed but he probably wasn't thinking that Alcoa would ask to play up.
