NCS may have a great team. I'm sure they do but UC will win this game by 3 or 4 td's. UC would win the 2-A title this season. UC is just on a different level than anyone else in 1-A. Good luck to both teams.

With the 56 points put up against LC This UC team has set a new school record for most points in a season with 665 points; passing the 2000 team ( my senior season) of 615. Congratulations and now go get them Eagles!!

This game will be a whole lot closer than a lot of people think. Each year that NCS has had the opportunity of being in the semis they improved. From a blowout in 2012 to an 8 point loss in 2013. This NCS team matures more and more each year. They are physically ready for what they are going to face Friday Night. The Defense is the real deal. Just got to see how the offense stands against that UC defense! Prediction will be later in the week. Go Eagles!

A few of us Pirates will be making the trip to watch this one. Any great places to eat that aren't frachises ? No predictions. If I remember correctly last year didn't NCS almost pull it off? Just for the record UC beat us by 7 points last year and NCS played a horrible first half of football ..We gained 2 valuable players this year and our defense is much better with these guys.. So don't get to cocky cause you sound stupid saying mercy rule... At least have a little since. It's gonna be a tough game for both teams ..

Excuse me...we LET you back in the game.  Recruited/gained two new players....lol.  NCS being Private or "semi" private....yes... so the private/public debate goes on and yes...we also have gotten better.  It doesn;t matter to us.  You have to stop us...NO ONE Has.  We were scoring 2 TD's to your 1.

It was just quoted on the radio by two sports radio guys and the coach of lake county that Union City would pretty much win all the way up to 4 A west of Nashville.  That is how good we are.  We beat a VERY good Trenton team handily who now may be predicted to play for a state championship.    We shall see.  Our kids are very good...on and off the field.  We will hit you so very hard your teeth will hurt.  We can defend any pass....try running up the middle and your game I over....you run wide and have a speedster....your only chance on that.  We know you have a could D1 players....we have a TEAM.  all covers their position well.  Good luck, safe travels and see you in Union City.

After a another solid year of recruiting, NCS is looking to get over the hump, unfortunately I don't think eagles fly to well in tornadic weather. Go UC!!

The game we've all been waiting for!! Could be the State Championship according to some of our friends east. NCS will have revenge on their minds from last year. Will the blowout season that UC has had come to haunt them? Swo has wanted a close game all year with no luck. If NCS gets up two scores somehow, how will the Tornado's react? They haven't been behind after the 1st quarter all year have they? I think this will be a 10 to 14 point game with the home team on top. Wouldn't surprise me to see NCS shock UC either.

Really makes me want to fly back to TN to see this one.

Gerry I always respect your opinion as you are one of the more knowledgeable posters on here but I disagree with you on this. I have seen CPA and UC matches up in the trenches very well with them. Haven't seen Trezvant but have seen Crockett and they almost beat Trezvant. UC can beat Crockett. I think they could give CPA and TrezVant all they want.

Wondered how long it would be before the true ucdiditagain fan hubris would come out. Somebody better put a muzzle on this guy - he's creating some great bulletin board material.

 

When you say "we LET you back in the game", that's how it works.  Your defense was unable to stop the NCS offense in the second half last year.

 

And by all this "smash mouth" talk, I'm assuming you mean dirty play (groin hits, hits to the head, etc.).  Because that's what that always amounts to when posters say that.

 

And before you get all bent out of shape, I have nothing to do with NCS.
