I hate to sound like I'm short changing two very good teams in Ravenwood and Knox West, but man, I wish it was Maryville and Hillsboro going at it next week for old times sake. They had some straight up battles back in the 2000's.

Maybe. But Hillsboro looked Pretty dang good. Don't think we would have fared any better against them, to be honest.

It took us (Springfield High) three games to recover from the Pats.

I tend to agree with you Mr.T.  Sometimes when you beat the team that has been on top and has been a thorn in your side the last few years, it is hard to get up for the next team in line. That is where good coaching comes into play i think.

 

Saying that i don't think that HC would have won against Hillsboro either. I am picking them to win it all in 5A.
