From an outsider, the 2008 team was better all around.

I thought so too. I would love for Marion to win it all but eventually teams like that 08 team are forgotten about

We do not have gunslinger by know means. I just don't see us giving up much points, we haven't all year. I believe , on film, Trousdale's line was better than Grace and they have the most explosive back in 2a with Harper. They also had a very dynamic QB. We only gave up 21 to them. I do not believe Grace's offense is as good as Trousdale's. Just an opinion of course.

Harper was not 100% with a patchwork line. GCAs offense is better.

I believe GCAs offense will be better but Harper said he was 95% the week before. Harper at 95% is better than most RBs at 100%. He ran out of gas in the 2nd half and it was understandable. He touched the ball every play.

It's easy to forget with it being a while back but the '08 team was good. This year's team is better in my opinion.

Look at our playof average though. We pulled of the gas in both games against one of the top rated defenses in the state. We really got on track the last half of the season. We had a change in the o line that made a huge difference! Trust me when I say it's getting better every week!

I would say he looked more like 80%. Didn't look like he had the extra step he had last year.

08 had more senior players with a lot less sophomores plying as we are this year. But with that said I believe we are way better in the coaching dept this year. I would take this team at this point.

Sorry, but Oneida wasn't great by any means. They had too many close games with below average teams for me to crown them as really good.
