I hope this one comes down to the final whistle. Prediction kind of like last week MC wins with Zeman in the game .

 

Good luck to Grace fans on the trip down I hope everyone leaves as healthy as they came

 

most of all to all the players just have fun cause tonight is for sure one teams last night.

Grace may think that but Marion doesn't. I haven't heard a player nor a coach even mention the other side of the state. I was talking to one of the seniors the other night and he didn't realize Trinity had lost. We have a good group that is focused on this game I do believe.

I am sure that Grace coach is giving his normal coach speak as well though.

Winner of the east is definitely the underdog next week, hands down.

Kids were to report at 7:30 this morning for breakfast. Coach Ross wanted it to be like a normal school day and the kids not to lay around all day. They will be dismissed at 12 and be back at 3 is what I have been told.

My boy was actually wishing they had had school this week. He has been figity all week waiting on this game.

To me ... I don't know how long Grace has been "playing together" as Marion has......

These boys from Marion have been brotherhood since way back.....if you don't think these boys haven't leaned on each other through all the adversity they have faced through the years....Your Wrong!

      Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.

      I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.

      5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
