There is another but I wasn't positive it was an offer so I left it off.

 

This is a high character kid who deserves it.

I saw he comitted to UTC. Good to hear. He should be a huge threat in the passing game this year with his size and speed.

700 pounds? Excuse me, but I will have to steal a like from Roy Dillard. You have got to be joking. You're saying they average 350 per tackle? I just so not believe that one. That's more weight than 95% of college teams. Edited August 1, 2015 by TheAmbassador

Hixson Friday

 

We go to Oliver Springs this coming Friday. The Revenge sets sail from Bucland at 330 if you want to stowaway.

I was told 6'2 335 and 6'5 375...........that's a lot of meat

Hixson was not able to run in the middle. whatever that proves, I'm not sure. I guess we will find out more at OS on Friday.

We scrimmaged Hixson. This is a slippery slope. Boyd dominated even with smaller guys winning one on one matchups before the scrimmage. Hixson is defending district champion but lost 14 seniors from last year. Our experience really showed throughout the session. The key is not letting this go to the heads and keep working to get the same results. Oliver Springs will be good test on Friday. Really nice coaching move splitting out Keebler and putting Owens at TE. Keebler really bad matchup for DBs and can bring him back in with Owens when you want to pound it with two tight ends.
