If you see my response above you understand what I mean, but this Peabody team is as fast as many of our good SP teams have been in the past. Our overall team speed this year wasn't Diet Coke, it was Coke Zero.

Well there have been years where yall were high octane and we were dynamite and the games were great.  This Saturday we will hopefully see one like that.  Those are the ones that I like, the ones that go down in history.  Last Friday was one of those.

Looks to me like that assistant coach from Jasper took his stop watch to Trenton to check these 40 times. If they are that fast y'all better get to the game early to get a seat. There's bound to be scouts from every NFL team and most major colleges in attendance. I say the better explanation is that the Peabody broadcast crew got a little carried away in their hype for the team. Personally I dont believe these times.[/quo. Our broadcating crew did not quote that it was a sports radion station out of Jackson Tn.

Trenton Peabody is a very good team, but some of you guys sound like SP did in 2009 vs Union City. SP fans said UC couldn't catch us. Well, they couldn't catch us. The problem is the offensive scheme they had kept the ball away from us most of the game. Just be careful is all I'm saying.

Very true sir .It is very possible coach Woods will have to make his half time adgustment majic again! Roll Tide Roll

You might want to go to utube and check out "Peabody vs Adamsville Xavier Ball kickoff return "

yes his speed in that video is impressive and so was a huge effort and awesome result......Booger has to agree that the un-impressiveness of poor poor tackling stood out more.......7/8 missed tackles......thats bad

You talk about fans hyping up a team all I read earlier on here was how no one can tackle #1. And how people run from him when he hits the hole. And how strong y'all's team is.

True sir true ive heard we gotta beware tha ztrain! We arent ready for the physical play of MC 62 and 55 will beg to differ ask avilles monster line!!! Friendly banter should be able to go both ways ! So rep your team we shall do the same and Saturday we be a Golden Tide kinda day!!!!!

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
