1 st let me say I hope MC brings home the gold ! Good luck MC

According to the roster and watching the clips from unapproved website Peabody is like Grace they have some pretty big boys. Question for the Big Swo's of UC and any Peabody posters: is Peabody real aggressive and physical bunch? Did they stop UC at all? Did they force any 3 and outs? Fumbles been an issue in any of the tough games? The clips I seen the QB looks like he can sling it?

Watched 4 different MC games this season and give Grace credit they came in and wasn't afraid to hit somebody- they were popping ever who had the ball and that's what caused the two fumbles! MC hadn't been hit like that all year and Grace flat got in their head. Grace didn't duck away From Zeman they met him in the hole and tried to hit him first. MC put together some good drives in the second half but the mistakes Grace made along with that pass that resulted in a fumble that cost Grace the game. Take away the fumble and the late hit Clock expires but the ball bounced MC way and they pulled off the win.

This game is about Peabody and MC - Peabody comes out and if they are not prone to penalties and turnovers -plays big and physical and can force MC to punt some it's going to be another down to the last minute/ last play great game. MC scores every possession and it's going to be a long night because defense is their strong suit.

MC played the worst first half I have seen all year (even Ross said that). Grace did play very well and had a great game plan to stop Zeman but it left that sweep open and that's why we kept running it over and over. MC dominated the 2nd half and that was the difference in the game. Grace actually should have tried to throw it more. They had 94 yds rushing in the game with 55 on 1 play that was a bust by a LB. 81 passing yds. We heard all week how they would just run all over us. Didn't happen. Also as expected conditioning came into play. Those boys were gasping for air in the 4th but anyone who follows MC football knows what kind of shape we are in.

Adamsville, Huntingdon, and even the sweater vest at TCA have been physical through the playoffs. Especially Aville. The truth is against Union City we fumbled our way out of that game. However I can assure you Marion is nowhere near the team Union City has.

Marion does have a great defense, but they will not be able to lock Peabody down for 4 quarters. Nobody has. Everyone seems to think PHS has no defense. That is a mistake.

The old boxing adage is "styles make fights". Peabody style then is rope a dope. You keep punching, we hang around, you get tired or think you have the fight won, you wake up wondering what happened to your season.

My advice, a new drill for Marion at practice this week, try catching swamp rabbits for an hour. The chicken ain't fast enough. Speed! greasy fast speed!

This team would have never made it past TC without Ross, noway. It is a very good group from seniors to freshman but we are in better shape, stronger and major difference on our defense, scheme and technique wise than years past. It's not even arguable. We would never played for a title with Mac. Good coach but you have to play defense to win the big ones. As for the offense, this offense will only continue to improve the longer these guys play in the system. It's pretty dang good to be installed in the last 16 weeks. I personally believe this offense (scheme) is better than Mac's IMO.

I believe the defense is definitely better but the offense is not. Of course defense may win you a championship. I saw a little on Trenton. They are extremely athletic and play very hard. The QB is special. Ross will have his hands full defending 4 and 5 wide.

peabody had 3 uncharacteristic turnovers to make it a short field for UC, peabodys defense held strong really only allowing them 21 points you can put on them

I'm sure they are a very good team, but I have one question. How will the prepare for The Ross Factor?

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
