cardfan, let's count them up. Two Sweats, Nixon and Burdette. You take those four off AHS and put them on McNairy's team and it will make a different case.  I do not think relatives had anything to do with it.  How many brothers go to a different high school than their sister? I guess she is not a relative.

AdamsvilleDad may have found another Travel Ball team today. The first game of the year could be the "Travel Ball Bowl."  We could get Ricky Yates to let him toss the opening game flip to help make some money off the game.

As a long time poster , I would suggest we refrain from putting kids names on here ! These are teenage boys And im sure theta aré at the school they chose! Unless your praising a kid for his efforts then leave names out !!

Red you beat me to it!

Thing is mac you guys ran off 2 pf those kids by your own actions. The other 2 had adamsville ties through their families. So its not like we jave pulled in all tje best. What you seem to miss is kids come through adamsvilles program and are way ahead of kids coming through mcnairy. They are bigger faster and stronger and better coached. You have a good head coach but until he can surround himself with his own coaches they will never be what they should. Too many politics in the good ol' boy network at mcnairy. Thats what slows you down more than anything

cardfan, you need to get with reality. The twins were encouraged to play at AHS. If they had not been two giants, no one at AHS would have known their name. Which two got ran off?  The first was already practicing in the spring with the Bobcats until a 'meeting' with the coaches in Adamsville changed their minds. They needed a travel partner and brought the other Ramer young man with them.

You can spin it ever how you want to spin it, but those are facts. The young man's dad from Ramer had rooted for the Bobcats since his graduation from AHS even when they were playing the Cardinals.

You would do the most good in this world by creating a website for Mc nairy and rooting them on. They need your support it seems you have a grasp of the game and must love it because your on here alot. I'm a parent who excited about these boys chances to do well. I'm a single parent and must confess I have really enjoyed being back in sports with my son. He only had two years left. I'm going to enjoy them and I enjoy harnessing TCA Intense but when I saw him at a seven on seven we spoke and shook hands. I wonder if that would be possible you and I met. I don't understand the anger I played for mcnairy 82 thru 84 we had a 2 and 8 season and a 7 and three season I like sports. I don't like drama. When you posted about Bolivar the other was happy to hear they did we'll never will have ill intent just don't understand the underlying anger

This will be my last comment to you, you have NO idea what your talking about. You are so far from the facts it's sad. You need to keep these boys names out of your mouth or your hints as to who they are, because I've talked to a few parents who are fed up. You're a joke.

This Milan team does not care about beating McNairy either. Your team is insignificant. I just say it because it solicites a response from you. Kinda like you do the Adamsville people when you mention recruiting. However I and they see you for what you are. A troll. Nothing more.

And no. I am not In anyone's basement. But I am at your sister's watching the morning news and eating breakfast!! :)

Stop my head is hurting from laughing.

    • That was after the 2nd year of a 4 year cycle.  Since Covid we have been on a 2 year cycle.  So, there really isn't a "mid cycle" reclassification this time.   Idk if there's anything in place to address the issue of a school closing.  My guess is, nothing can be done.  This would be akin to the 1st year of a 4 year cycle, where a school has the 20% +/- but not allowed or even have the option to move up or down.
    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
