Bisontruth
Just will the Bison do now that Kyle is graduating? He was an excellent athlete no doubt! Can anyone fill his shoes? What about plans for a new high school just up the road from Station Camp? How will these transfers choose? Questions questions? SC has no worries about transfer, evrybody wants to play for a winner, evrybody wants to be Bison, After vandy and nfl Kyle will coach wave. He will teach how to win in all sports. mondo44
Good day yesterday as I was able to catch some spring football practice for Hville and also later the 9-AAA track meet. Typical first day for football, a lot of technique work, individual drills, etc. 9 or 10 are involved in spring sports so will not get a clear picture until fall. Just need to get our work in and identify guys who can help us. Black and Gold game this Friday and then scrimmage at Smyrna next Friday. Caught some of the sprint prelims with Head and Chambers from GHS and Turner and Carter from Hville as all 4 qualified for the Thursday finals in the 100 and 200 and Turner also in the 400. Best performance of the day was the kid from WC in the 3200 who ran off and left everyone and ran a 9:44. Got to talk to Taye Davis from LHS who was there for the sprints. Nice young man, didn't get to see his race but heard he qualified in the 100 and 200.

GWAVE1
Has Gallatin started Spring practice ? What are the expectations for the Wave? MJ starts Spring practice Friday. Started this week. Will scrimmage White House next Friday. Hard to say from the spring as usual with transfers, people quitting, and positions being moved around. However, as a core group, Gallatin should be very competitive and expectations are the playoffs.

CommandoFan81
Did anyone get to check out the black and gold game at Hendersonville today? And what are your thoughts on the team?
mondo44
Black defeats Gold 34-25 behind 3 TD's from Sr RB Mike Harris. TD runs of 87 and 22 and a short TD pass from QB John Oschslager. Oschslager had a short TD run as did Terrell Carter. Gold was led by TD,s from Eric Tilson, Anthony Hughes, and 2 from Jack Towe. Overall no major injuries and everyone got a lot of reps. As far as how we looked I thought typical for a spring game, good at times, sloppy at times. Talent is there to be successful, just have to continue to work to get better every day. I believe we dressed 90 today. Had several not playing due to spring sports so right now we are right at 95 on the roster.
CommandoBlood100
Did anyone get to check out the black and gold game at Hendersonville today? And what are your thoughts on the team? Hard to judge with many players playing other sports and with only three days of practice under their belts. Saw some good things, saw some bad but the effort was there it seemed like, which is a positive. We've definitely got some athletes which is exciting.. Scrimmage next Friday should tell us more

Very important Monday that that the kids be coachable and be ready to get after it. Anxious to see how your young linemen perform this week and on Friday. Limited reps for the track guys early in the week will give some of the backups opportunities in the scrimmage on Friday.
