Decker, McClurg, Clark, and McCollum should give Alcoa one of the best D-lines on this end of the state. If anywhere Alcoa should be very strong there...secondary as well with Woody abd Clabough

Not trying to insinuate anything. Its Known to be fact that having an open zoned school system, or pay a small fee to attend, in or close to larger cities like Knoxville or Nashville is a huge advantage. Its hard to judge how good a coach someone is comparing them to coaches with less advantages. Apples to oranges.

Alcoa does not "pull" players from Knoxville. Alcoa has players from Blount County. But, it has to compete with Maryville that is 5 miles away for OZ talent. The juggernaut talent comes from Alcoa's backyard....The Hall Community. Alcoa has excellent talent year in and year out......TThat's a known fact.

Look at Smyrna's record before and after Shadowens. He will win. Only question is how long it will take him. Great hire for WB. He also sent lots of kids to college. On football schoolarships...he is a great coach and is well connected.

They have pulled from Ktown .. in past .. and when they can move into that aprtment building for address it makes it easier ...
