A couple months ago a few close to the situation seemed to think he would be cleared to play. But I guess wave messed that up

Your guess is incorrect sir. Green Wave are not involved in any way. Bisontruth is attempting to antagonize the situation. Again, with the hardship, it took several months to get him eligible at Gallatin. I would assume with a second hardship and under the circumstances of a second move to the same location or zone, it would be even harder to convince the TSSAA under their current rules. It is that simple. As I said before, it would've been the best for him to stay in East Tennessee last year or since he did move home to Gallatin, he should have stayed this year. Either would have guaranteed his eligibility.

In case another brawl breaks out we'll be ready to claw our way out of it. Must admit I'm looking forward to the stadium grill ;)

I wouldn't worry about any more Boone brawls for a while.    Last year Boone and Crockett got into a fight after the game, the T$$AA fined both schools and eliminated them from the playoffs until 2017 (may be 2016, can't remember now).     So I think that will be fresh on the minds of the coaches and players, at least I hope so.

We could start a rumor that there'll be a brawl after the game. Might sell more tickets that way

R-truth, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. When spells it "sportz" I don't take them too seriously. But I will chant let banks play! Let banks play!

Not so sure how this season will go for the smoky bears. I'm gonna pick sevier co. to win every game because I'm a Homer and that's what I do. But its not looking good for banks, despite the let banks play movement started by bisontruth. Nothing final, but I don't feel good about it. And I'm not sure how good the line will be. Nva is pulling a lot from schs and looks like its really showing on the line. Hopefully after the dead period I can get to the field and see instead of just going off what others say. In the mean time go bears and let banks play!

I have a feeling some of the lineman are going to play both ways. One I think is for sure going to have to play both ways. A big plus is the oline coach is going to be back and he will make them better. Also I know of at least 2 soph lineman that will play pretty quick. Kids and parents are afraid to compete so they go to smaller schools to play right away. It's a loser mentality in my book but things are just not what they used to be. Instant gratification blah blah blah these kids will have to earn something some day it's just not going to be in highschool sports. Maybe I will send my next kid to gp so he can be pitcher qb and point guard all while weighing 250 with a strict diet of McDonald's and cheesy puffs. Don't worry sdot this team is going to roll and lots of young talent on the way. The popular lets go play at the new school is already fading this is much like the days when pf opened up it hurt for a few years then the focus shifted back to SC. Nva might win at the level they are at but if they ever have to play with the big dogs they will get handled.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
