workinprogress
Unfortunately for the kids involved yes. I would have suspended both head coaches, placed the schools on probation, and let the girls play.
ecu
It's ashamed girls have to suffer for coaches decision. That is why you hire coaches who have integrity. Sorry for girls but glad justice was done!

tigeracoach
Absolutely they should have been disqualified. I have seen and heard people talk about "no rules were broken" and that is total B$!! Above all rules is the INTEGRETY of the game which was horrendously violated in this display!! Good for the TSSAA!!! JMHO

workinprogress
Gillespie just said on the zone that the tssaa cannot suspend a coach.
lazarus
I'm sorry to disagree, but the fault is not with the teams. It is the governing body which has set up a tournament where there is every motivation to lose. Too many teams advance. This is far from the first time that teams have contended to lose a 3-4 matchup. Send 4 home, and give 1 a bye. Everyone has a reason to win. Dollars to donuts 90% of the coaches would agree. wbbwatcher
No to the TSSAA. Collect your money and don't make up rules as you go. ( See Ensworth's football coach ). Suspend the two head coaches and let the girls play. I would even say that their enormous coaching supplement should be withheld for this semester. chill
Riverdale was pressing Smyrna so that Smyrna wouldn't score in their own goal.
