Way to keep it classy badnews. I'm hard-core GC, but they played horrible tonight. Riverside wasn't great either. Agree with Bullshark, sloppiest game I've seen in a substate match up. GC acted like they've never played a game of bball.

Come on guy take a win with a little class. Or at least show up before the game and give some insight of your gonna do that. Riverside earned this win. GC came out scared and tight and couldn't get anything going. 24 for riverside was everywhere. If not for the sophomore Smithson for gc it would have gotten worse. Turnovers killed us. Riverside was aggressive and we didn't respond well. Foul trouble got us. Huge charge call on Lannom for her third mid way through 2nd hurt us. But we still had a chance and couldn't make it happens. Congrats riverside.

Agreed. I've said it all year. GC is not a dominate team. District is poor, region is poor. It showed tonight that the district and region is not a top one in the state. Congrats to Middleton and Riverside.

Look I'm not taking anything away from riverside we are all giving them credit. But you don't hold bri fields to 8 points one more time in 10 tries. Just wasn't out night and riverside took advantage.

Agree.  Smithson played well.  The future is bright for her!  Riverside plays physical and tries to get in your head.  it seemed like they were able to do that to several GC players.  I think GC was more talented but Riverside's seniors seemed to want it more tonight.  Fun game and great atmosphere!

Championships aren't won on ifs and buts or excuses. I would say home court advantage is at least worth 5-10 points . . They got beat to better team bottom line. Not to mention Dresden got demolished so seems to me west tn is all boys basketball.

Completely agree. Riverside played like the much more mature team tonight. GC let the pressure get to them.
