I believe it's safe to say VBC is this years "cinderella story". Going into the district tournament who really thought VBC would be going all the way to state? 11-15 teams aren't suppose to go to state, right? Well apparently that's not the case, they have ran off 6 straight wins since they were 11-15.

i have to say i am surprised by this. but very happy for the eagles. i really thought it would be another year or 2 before vb made some noise at state. the scary thought is mills and company has 3 more years after this one. wow!

I also saw them play once this year, and at the time they were far from a state tourney team. Congrats to VBC. They are playing a team in Loretto that is making its first trip to the state tournament since 1942. Will be a fun game to watch.

Truly amazing for Van Buren. Less than 6 weeks ago, they had a 9-14 record. They didn't get down or give up. Now they have won 9 out of the last 10 games. Coming together at the right time!!!! Congrats to all the guys and Coach Sullivan.
