I woudn't bet my house on it but it MAY come back down to Oakland / Blackman fighting it out in the finals. That would be a good game to watch.

I expect Bearden to show up. Depending on which Bearden team takes the court on Saturday will determine if this game is close or not. I feel pretty confident that this will be a better game than what Oakland faced in the first game.

I'm taking Oakland by 13 in this one. Bearden's post player was pretty good but she's no answer for Shelby Gibson. & Wright & Lawson are better than anyone Bearden has at guard.

Oakland wins this one rather easily i think.  Too bad White Co. had to draw one of the Rutherford Co. teams in the substate as i do believe they were the 3rd best team in the state this year behind Blackman and Oakland.

I think the 2 best teams from Memphis are sitting at home as well. Ridgeway would not have lost to Mo. East or Bearden.

I believe that Bearden has a very good chance against Riverdale....OOOPS...THEY GONE!!!   Actually this should be a very good game I would think. With that said, I haven't seen Oakland play so I don't have a clue. What am I thinking.

 

I do remember when Oakland played in the Super 16 at Bearden High School in the early 90's.  I remember a player by the name of Matt Cobble....that dude could flat out BALL.  anyone ever know if he went on to play in college?
