Next Dyersburg Coach

Guess, I'll see Monday, just found out Crockett has a new girls (ladies) coach. Mmmmmm that young lady could coach xand she seemingly had Coffman number at the end of the season.

GC is right. Not going to be Hudson because of driving distance. She turned down Westview last year as well because of driving distance. The Reechis connection with Westview would have gotten her the job last year. Going to be Crockett County or South Gibson IMO for Hudson and my money is on Crockett County. I have 0 confidence in the administration at South Gibson.

If Hudson ends up at SGC or Crockett over Dyersburg it is not because of driving distance...

Memphis ---> Dyersburg    74 miles / 1 hour 35 minutes

 

Memphis ---> Medina    95 miles / 1 hour hour 36 minutes

They are going to be living in Jackson. Don't know the details but I know she didn't pursue the Westview job last year because of distance. She wants to be close to Jackson. I heard she had interest in South Gibson and Crockett County more than any. Dyersburg and Westview are the cream of the crop in 13 AA, so it has something to due with the location. Not the job. South Gibson would be the favorite, but their administration is not very smart. Crockett County has some smart basketball people calling shots. That is the reason I say she goes there.

Crocketts already hired their coach. Won't be there. Won't be dyersburg either.

Their is a number of soon to be 8th grade players at South Gibson that have been around Hudson since they were 5 years old. She will be a dominant coach in the future. Crockett County will get her services IMO.

I've asked around to several people about the stuff you're saying about Kayla Hudson to Crockett. Everyone is saying the same thing I am... If it happens, you're the first and only to call it...

 

If she takes any job at Crockett it will be as assistant and my guess is that's not what she really wants.

I will say this. The only way it won't be Crockett County is unless South Gibson hires her. And I don't see South Gibson's administration pulling it off. Crockett County's coach is Tommy Colvin, whom I have known my whole life and see him regularly.

I hope I am wrong and it is South Gibson. Just don't see it. South Gibson is doing formality interviews. It is almost like Kayla going against the superintendent's daughter.

She is in Memphis at St George's, a private school. Her husband has a good job in Memphis as well. She is going to get hired this year. We will see where she lands.

 

What is this "good job" Mr Hudson has you speak of  ?
