Lebanon

The low pay in Wilson County (relative to Sumner, Rutherford etc.) will be tough to overcome. Wilson Central was VERY lucky to get John Wild for their girls program last year. The boys job there is still wide open after Bond recently left. I believe Lebanon will find the same issues for their job search.

Although I think everyone does deserve a second chance, this is a little befuddling to me. Not only did he throw the game, he made a complete mockery of the game and sport in general. I don't know how good of a coach he is considering Riverdale had already won 3 State Championships before he got there, and he had a team left by John Wild that returned virtually the whole team from the 2012 CState Champion. But hey Lebanon has some great people that will make an excellent decision one way or the other.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
