bluedevil6913
Kingston beat AAA Anderson Co by 5 to open season. Makes Wartburg win over Kingston on road look more impressive. Anderson County came to Harriman for a scrimmage a couple of weeks back, (with their football players) and beat us pretty good, but we would struggle to win a game without our football players. They were less than impressive imo
RdBallFan
Who are the probable starters for Harriman that play football?
chill
Harriman football contributors are Pace, Jackson, and Bingham.
bluedevil6913
Was worried about opening district play shorthanded without our full team, but it seems as though we will have everyone as we lost tonight in football. Will probably be rusty but hopefully that works itself out. I'm not a fan of the first non hall of fame game for us being a district matchup
bluedevil6913
Harriman football contributors are Pace, Jackson, and Bingham. Anderson, and Luna if he plays will contribute defensively especially.

UTRok
"GCA is playing in the ESPN Charlotte Hoops Challenge at thanksgiving and thanks to Hampton we got our football guys back." High Point Christian will be good. The Giles kid that just signed with Duke was there before attending Oak Hill. JM Robinson has one of the best 2 guards in the country Lavar Batts. Inner city Charlotte team most always have size and speed. Raleigh word of God always has size. My son played in the Charlotte area as a freshman in HS 2013-14 season. LilGoose10
Oakdale lost to Clarkrange & beat Livingston. Who thought Oakdale would be 1-2 right now?

Well It looks like at least Clarkrange and Livingston thought Oakdale would be 1-2 LOL. It's basketball!
CAH09
Oakdale lost to Clarkrange & beat Livingston. Who thought Oakdale would be 1-2 right now?it's early, plus those are solid opponents. They have a good group, just gets tough vs quality opponents for a school ODs size. In this district, they shouldn't have any trouble finishing in the top 2. I'm wondering if they might have a better chance this year in the region. Be tough with Grace and Meigs in there though... A few more players at those schools typically.
LilGoose10
I could've seen them losing to either Clarkrange or Livingston. That Monterey loss is still baffling. Even their players will tell you they're playing awful right now, even in their win. I hope they get it together soon. If they're playing like they're capable of, they run the district and give Grace or Meigs a big fit. On the right night with a little bit of luck they can take either down. They played two good games against Meigs last year.
