Has anyone ever thought that the clock might not have started on time? I've seen that happen several times late in games when the clock keeper turns into a spectator.

4A Championship was an instant classic. Not a empty seat, nor standing room left in that place. Both sides were loud and played well. One of the best basketball games I've watched. Wartburg has gotten ALOT better since the first of the year and Oakdale will be a handful for District 3 teams to handle. Great game. Neither side should hang their hands and get back to work for the region tourney. If you want to sit down for any of the region games you better get there early because it's gonna fill up I promise

Funny - I had a buddy tell me he went to the game and that both teams were equally hap hazard with the ball and didn't play a lick of defense. He had a totally different perspective on the actual game action. Loved the atmosphere though. Said it was really a fun place. He had more fun people watching I think.......If you go to the Meigs V GCA game at Roane St WED, holler at me, I will have the big camera lens pretending like I know something about shooting pics.

no...that wasn't it....it was so far off, it was obvious regardless of what the clock would have said. The kid was in a semi trot with the ball... That doesn't take ten secs. He could slow walk it in ten secs.

12thManGCA, I think I saw you shooting at the Rockwood/Grace game a few weeks ago. I'll be shooting whatever games I end up at for either the Roane or Morgan County News. Haha. 

 

That Oakdale/Wartburg game: WOW.

 

However, one glaring fault stood out that could cost the Eagles against Grace should they play: transition defense. Oakdale is a running team for sure, but Carroll and the Dawgs sliced Oakdale up in the fast break. If they don't fix that, Grace will score 150.
