Why doesn't maryville play other states top teams?

If Maryville played a Kentucky team it would be yeah , but they're Skeered of them Ohio Teams ... if they Played them it would be , ya but they're Skeered of them Ga teams .... then Fla .... then Ala ... then Texas .... Cali .... because the teams or fans who constantly bring this up are the fans of the Teams that Maryville has been branding a big L on their rear ends for a while now and they are just dying to see Maryville get beat . I could care less about pleasing any of the haters ... those same haters downplay the Alcoa game like they're just a small school .... and I bet most years Alcoa would give their teams a Thumping .... this year we've added Fulton .... you can probably say the same thing about them ... In 2009 , & 2010 Maryville lost State then won State in 6A ... the best team they played both years by far was Alcoa .

 

Maybe instead of worrying about who Maryville plays , you guys should be more worried about how to play them if and when your team gets a chance to play them . Obviously crossing that Magical State Line is not the Key to beating Maryville .

But it as close as they will come. We did play on ESPN in 2012 season and they did get some national attention as a matter of fact Logan Winders diving TD reception made the ESPN #2 out 10 play of the week.

Great post. One thing you said I really agree with. A lot of these posters want Maryville to get their butt kicked so bad. I bet 2 years ago Norcross Georgia rival fans were really whooping it up when Booker T Washington out of Miami laid a 55-0 whooping on Norcross at Norcross.

Wow what an awful list. IMG lost last night and Oakland, Blackman, Ensworth and Fulton shouldn't be included on any top 200 lists even. Complete Joke. Maryville should be #1 Though.

It's a preseason high school list when have they ever been accurate... It's all off of past success Fulton graduated a total of 47 seniors the past two years and start a freshman QB... Of course they are not a top 25 team in the southeast but it's hard not to put them on there when they came into the season on a 36 game win streak...
