Better players ? Or more experience ?

We were very young last season, really young.

We lost Zeman, the fullback, but we return from last season on offense:

four sophomores and one junior on the o-line, Junior First time QB moved from TE, a Sophomore TE. So we will have major improvements in experience on  the offense line.

Plus a QB transfer that can throw thew ball well, had over 2000 yards last season in Alabama. The two wing backs are more experienced and better. The Henderson kid had 1500 yards last season and is our best skill player . Much , much more speed at the other wing. Wideouts will be better than last due to experience and better athletes.

Defense; we lost one linebacker, which was Zeman , one  DT , nose guard, one cornerback and a safety. We will have upgrades at DT, nose, cornerback and Safety. Zeman was a heck of a LB and hard to replicate.

We return 2 starting linebackers that were sophomores last year which both made all district and  one made all state.  A corner that started as a freshman last year, a four year starter at middle linebacker, and our d line could be much better this year with one sophomore that made all state last year and two new comers as starters but have some promise and have shown flashes, both juniors this season.

TTP, Old Pirate finds you kinfolkes laughable since you fellers have chattered about coaches watching the Warriors! OP is Not easily taken in by slick talkers or SOS. You Tn Vol & Jasper fans are hurt but still attempting to get over your Kiffen & McCurry man crushes. BTW, you are one to talk about OP not being a fan of your SOS since you have repeatedly talked smack about The Captain. Ask the SOS & see if he will admit to snooping? Surely he would be forthcoming to you worshippers. Playtime will have wait, OP has to attend the breakroom meeting.

PM and OP what kind of mess is this? I about lost my dentures when I read this mess. Did that Ross man get caught watching Grider have practice? Are you sure it wasnt Barney down there? Im going to ask that man at Ronnies red eye about this mess tomorrow. You think im joking but im not.

Find where I was talking about coaches snooping...........waiting..........you never have anything productive to bring to the conversation. Same ole same ole over and over. I'm not a worshipper by any means. Ross is however a great coach that has improved the program by his strength training and also cosmetically.

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
