WR should be a strong position

#3 Dunn will be real good. he is a great athlete 5'11 175

#16 Rodgers could be very tough to match up against with his size 6-2 185

several players could see some action at WR

Thanks Upper.

I hope they have a balanced attack. I had heard the WR corp looked pretty good but that is based on practice and not games.

2ED hand, but heard a couple of injuries with the wide outs and not good for the season. If it's so, I hope those kids, as well as any others that's been hurt since spring have a fast recovery. That's every parents worst fear with sports and something those young men risk every day for the opportunity to play the game they love.

I hate it for those that are hurt. An opportunity for someone to step up.

I shouldn't be so hard on these young working  guys because it's the way they are taught from an early age, right on up into the work place and until they retire..You take a man that is brought up right and he works his butt off in school and at everything he does to be the best worker at his job. Then he has a punk person in the right position reward less deserving workers and disrespects that man because he can get away with it at that very moment. The young worker can only do a few things.Get another job or take the sht and move on.Most of us take the sht and move on but when someone gets that other job,it must be the way he was brought up .It has to be, because the punk tells everyone it is.We have all seen this at our jobs and know kissing backside or being kin to someone is only way you really move up most of the time. That's why Batman has had to work like a dog,I don't kiss az and tell it as straight as I can without making to many people around me mad or getting kicked off a sports board again

Am I the only one that found the clue in this post?

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
