BigSwo
Well this is it. The reigning 2A Champions goes head to head with the reigning 1A Champions. This ought to be a dandy. UC comes to town on a roll scoring 118 points in their first two games of the season while allowing 20 points. In my opinion Peabody has played better competition at least in their game with Milan. It is difficult to gauge where we stand. I thought Mitchell would be a real challenge but proved otherwise. Of course SF was nothing more than a glorified practice. So the question is " Are we really good or has our competition been that bad"?. I guess Peabody will answer that question for us. I'm am so looking forward to this game. Let's talk it up. PiRaTe._.MiKe
It will be tough to win twice. So either win now, or win later in playoffs. Take your pick Edited August 29, 2015 by PiRaTe._.MiKe
BigSwo
We beat Humboldt twice in 2013 and the quarter finals decided the state champ that year. So you are right. Winning twice is tough but it can be done. In fact it happens all the time.
BigSwo
Wish I lived nearby to this one. Will it be on Internet ?It has been in the past but it was Peabody that hosted the game. Maybe some one from Trenton can answer that better.
TIDE1
We beat Humboldt twice in 2012 and Mckenzie twice last year. Winning twice is possible. This game is gonna have a huge impact on the playoffs. Obviously UC is favored. I think we're due. Someone has to beat them eventually. I feel like we probably have the best chance. ROLL TIDE!!! PKB74
I think a couple of keys to Peabody being able to beat U C are being able to match up to U C physical game and not letting U C "rock you to sleep" with their running game then catch you off guard with a long pass play. Milan burned us a couple if times when we were keying on the run. We also need to establish a balance attack on offense. Should be a good game and looking forward to another big crowd at Walter Kilzer Stadium. We had an est 3500 for the Milan game. I would advise anyone going to get there early.
