DB comes out strong. Tough loss to the 2015 state champs.

DB rolls for the next  3 weeks.I don't think we will find out who the state champions are for a couple of months but it was a reality check for anyone who has never seen what Maryville does every year.I got mine when I found out this 10th grade class is one of Maryville's best and they would be in the super 32

This game could get ugly quick if Bradley starts off flat.

Flat has nothing to do with it. This game will probably be ugly anyways. DB is most likely the 2nd best team in this region. Now on the other hand, if we keep the states worst play caller/OC at home than we might can stop a complete beat down. As long as Freeman is there, we can expect a 40-0 lose

You have to remember that DB is still one year away. We’ll get’em next year. Just wait till next year. There’s always next year…. next year…. next year….next year….

I know one fan said DB just had an off night .On a good night it would be different.

DB might score some serious points, but don't be too sure this is a complete runaway.  You'd think after being beat down by Maryville like everybody else, DB might realize they're not so special.  49-0 in the second quarter? UGH! You'll have your hands full with BC's QB if it's a dry night.  After what I saw on TV the other night, it won't be too hard to run by those defensive backs. DB has a late score and wins 41-20.

LOL ain't that like every school? Expect Maryville lol. DB is really good this year. No year away from nothing lol

Yeah I was just tweaking the DB faithful a little.     However her is a real solution:

There is talk about a new high school in Sullivan County, I think Kingsport should consider un-annexing some areas near that school to drop enough students to get DB down to 5A.    That means they would have to drop about 600-700 students, but as long as they were regular students (non-athletes and non-band) then it would still work.      DB would have a shot at the gold ball playing in 5A.

Don't think this Super 32 is gonna have a long shelf life so you'd be going right back to the same problems you had in just a few years

This game could be interesting. The states worst OC verses the states worst DC. Your QB will have a big night.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
