Next Giles County Coach?

I am hearing now that your coach K may have withdrew his name. I am also hearing that the front runner may be a gentleman from Munford in west Tn 5a school.

From what I have heard they really like Kirby. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't they guy. Heard they really liked kriesky until Kirby interviewed.

Curious. Why would someone go from a 5A school to a 4A school? Both head coaching jobs?

I'm hearing he can't get the athletes there because it is open zone and like 3 other schools. Some how he still manages to win. Tells me that's the kind of guy we need!

1323, I got it from a very good source that you are correct. Word I got was Kriesky withdrew from consideration for the Giles Co. job so that means unless they call someone else in for a final interview it is now a 2 horse race between two young coaches.

Well if that is the case I am hoping that Kirby is the man. He sounds like the real deal! From what I am hearing he probably was the front runner anyway. Wasn't really sold on going to a wing T offense anyway!

If Kirby is the man, you will be running the veer. And Munford does it well. Don't even know if he has applied just stating what I know being a West TN football fan. Munford has traditionally been really bad at football. But he has got them going in the right direction.

 

What has been really impressive to me is that he is doing it playing in district with 5A Memphis schools that are no doubt loaded with athletes. He doesn't have much talent at Munford but gets the most out of it. Give him some Giles Co talent and he will turn that program around.

 

Again I don't even know if he has applied just what I am reading on this thread. But if he has, he's a good 'un!!
