Giles is big up front and have some very good athletes. Had a coaching change and are 3-1 under the new coach. This is my upset special of the first round. Know nothing bout Stone just think that Giles will show up in playoffs.

stones gonna run the ball around 40 times a game, with 3-4 different ball carriers. Very small offensive line, but great pad level and they drive their legs and usually get people off the line of scrimmage. Defense has no untouchable players but work great as a unit. When you say Giles is big, how big are you saying? 300lb average or smaller?

No offense to the kitty cats (they beat us  after all, and will git the program back on track), but Stone won't have any problems with them. Can't use the EH logic. First and last games of the season; no comparison. I was surprised EH kept the Stone game that close, but they have really started to get it together late in the season.

The Signal vs Giles game looked like two blind dogs fightin' over a bone. Ain't no way to sugarcoat it.

Where's WOMG? I think I seen him lurkin' around the other night. Somebody needs to put a load of rock salt in his rump and git him movin'.

I want to find out who the next coach is. :popcorneater:

    • What’s sad Barney is the cards in the deck are stacked against them.  With the success the MAVS are having just down I-75, any talented players are heading that way. I always said what the Price twins did there was second to none, making the playoffs and winning a playoff game is the ceiling there. On a great year, maybe a q-final appearance but that is a big stretch.  Finding a coach there is very tough. I feel for the new coach, he’s in a very bad situation and I’m not sure he even realizes it. I understand he wants to be positive and have hope, but I don’t see them scratching a win. Maybe he will prove me wrong.
    • I agree, 2A is the only class in thet state where the west side of the bracket is tougher, not taking anything away from Marion county at all but they should run that side for years to come
    • Should be a big week in Dayton coming up with the 100th anniversary of the Scopes Monkey Trial.
    • AE has a lot of new transfers and a very good incoming freshman class to mess with the current players.  That's why I'm saying don't sleep on AE.  Many are thinking they can't get back to their winning ways but I think this 2025 team will open a lot of eyes and let the state know, AE won't be an easy win anymore.
