If WB can't dominate a 4A school not named Fulton, they are in trouble this season. They should handle Seymour without much difficulty or its going to be rough.

I can name some other 4a schools that WB would definitely not dominate that aren't names Fulton

Gov91.....I understand that Shad added extra work to the kids donning bits of red attire at a recent practice. Does he not understand, or see what was happening? Simply put these warriors were morphing into Cardinals as the power was being instilled into them. Shad's refusal to accept this truth of WB's real identity is disturbing and I am afraid very damaging to WB. Initially, I was predicting a 5 plu win season for WB, but after this incident I see 3 as the most and potentially a 0-11 season. The Cardinal lives.....it is real, and until someone is able to open the Shad eyes to this creature of greatness the curse will continue.

Totally understand. Both loudon and Seymour would not be a test to see were WB stands because both schools are avg. 4a teams. OR is a different story and will let you know more

Yes we picked up a very nice player from Ala that was between us and Loudon (dad was transfered with job) and they picked us because of the tradition.Also the Silvey kid is from there also and everyone knows how good he is.Thanks for the props I just hope we deliver!Good luck.

Playing OR and Cleveland will be a good barometer for WB. My thoughts are that you should scrimmage the best you can find and it makes the rest look easy.

I agree, but past WB coaches have tried to load up less talented teams for meaningless scrimmages to make themselves feel good and then have really suffered when they played schools their own size and their kids were unprepared for that level of competition. I'm glad Schad is stepping up.

Hammer you couldn't of said it better but anytime I get on here and mention that I get kicked, beat and booted. I was on the OR thread a while back and mentioned playing Maryville would help them  the same way you mentioned and it was like a disturbance of a fox going into a hen house and feathers went flying. This scrimmage with WB, Cleveland and OR will be a great opportunity for all three of those schools to get better and fix any of their problems before the season starts.

So it was a job transfer and not garbage service? I'll have to do some digging on that. I think maybe mama Starz has been offering garbage service to her "alma tamater" as well.

Playing scrimmages like this with OR is one of the many things Schad is doing well. He still needs to do a little more house cleaning with his staff and fix a few other long term problems, but I think he is on the right track.  You can't be scared to play good teams, especially if you're a 6A school.

I've seen the Govs practice in full pads and they look sharp. I am cautiously optimistic that we will have a better year.
