I know this is the IFL ... but seriously ... you guys place Alcoa over Christian Brothers. Really? And then you don't even have Ravenwood, Hendersonville, Oak Ridge, Centennial, or Farrugut on your list ... let alone, above Alcoa.

I know these are your opinions, but I can't take either of them seriously.

I haven't see CB play but Alcoa is better than Oakridge and Farragut this year. There only loss was 21 to 14 to Maryville. Guess we will have to see how Good Maryville does the rest of the way

It's obvious you haven't seen Ravenwood, Hendersonville, or Centennial for that matter.

Well ... everybody has an opinion.

And that's why I didint comment on them. I'm sure you haven't seen Oakridge and Farragut play either when you mentioned them. IF Maryville wins out AND doesn't have a close game Alcoa has a right to say there in the top 10 of the IFL.

Farragut and Oak Ridge belong nowhere near the top 10 discussion. Alcoa would beat both. I mean who do you think those teams you mentioned would beat in the top ten. Please...let's see your top ten.

A solid list of teams. But I don't agree with order. I'm curious as to how a two loss Baylor team (who has lost only to #1 and #4 ranked teams) is behind a three loss Rhea County who Baylor beat head to head? That kind of stuff baffles me and makes me not take his rankings as serious.

I said earlier in this thread where I would pull my top 10. I've already stated that I think that Alcoa would probably be in my top 20. Not my top 10. Any top 10 without Ravenwood listed in it isn't worth discussing. That is an OBVIOUS ommission.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
