I agree.Parker's dad is the only one I know of.I am sure the Henrys are unhappy and may have put a call in to the Rams head master tho LOL!As TTU said no one is leaving as of yet,but if it does it will be in the spring.They live in Wartburg so he could play immediately in Baseball.GCA is expected to win gold again.

Its not legal for a Coach to contact kids or their families.

That don't stop coaches from doing it just around here Grace catholic CAK coalfield Clarkrange greenback and and Harriman done it in basketball I am sure there is others might not be the head coach but there is other coaches on staff doing it

Is it illegal to offer a coach a job at another school??How would someone ever progress.My understanding is his father is a coach and got offered a better job at GCA middle two years ago and it came open again.That's a heck of an offer to turn down.A free private education at a school like GCA not to mention the opportunity to play for the best 1A baseball team in the state.I'm not a private guy but that's a pretty sweet deal.

you say this in a way that casts these schools like automatically they did something wrong because some kid moved to their school....95% of the time it just isn't so. Parents/kids move for other reasons, not because some coach asked them. That rarely happens. Walk on the campus at CAK, Grace, etc.... There are many, many reasons to go there, they sell themselves. If some CAK fan states the obvious to a family friend, that isn't illegal. If some kid leaves wburg or Oliver springs to play football at CF or GB, who could blame them? Or leaves York to play basketball at clarkrange?

If my choices were Greenback or Grace .I'd pick Greenback. Good ole Country boy don't always fit in with the little preppy boys.Another thing is,Grace already has 3 QB's. You never know how many kids they are bringing in and how you would fit in. If I were the kid,I'd stay put. Now I could see Coaches taking a job,more money and just an easier job.
