cbg
When you look at single sex schools such as MUS, CBHS, McCallie, etc... you must double the numbers to get the true enrollment figures.
RedRobin1
What about CPA? Since they would naturally fit into your AAA West (natural rivalries with Ensworth, BA and MBA), perhaps you could slide them in there and move St. George's down to AA West? fbcoach400
Yes, CPA would fit in there as well, I overlooked them. They would have a 419 student enrollment as well based off what is listed with the multiplier. There may be a couple more schools not listed by mistake. DirectorP
Why not break away from the TSSAA all together and start a multi state conference?
bigchief
Why not break away from the TSSAA all together and start a multi state conference? Mainly because only about 8-10 schools could afford the travel costs involved. That would also not take into account the lost classroom time. Most of those top schools are also top academic institutions. Sounds great in theory, but will never happen. The travel involved with a total split just within the state will be enormous. TnTxn
Why do many projections assume that there will be 3 classifications in DII? Why not keep it at only 2 classifications? Even with 24-25 schools in each classification, everyone could still make the playoffs (so TSSAA would still get the gate from as many games as possible). I don't like when a championship can be won with only 3 games.

The reason why there are three classes is this is the way you get the CPA's, Lipscomb's, Goodpasture, Knox Catholic, and CAK to be a part of it. They don't want to be in the same class as the big privates football-wise

And for the girl's, Hutchison, St. Mary's, St. Agnes, Harpeth Hall. I probably missed a couple but these are pretty dominant in volleyball, lacrosse, golf, tennis.
