What has Riverdale done since Rankin left for Alcoa? Too many schools in Rutherford County has watered down the playing level. That's why no school in the county has still found a way to beat Maryville. Meanwhile schools from Metro/Nashville, Memphis City, and Williamson County have all been able to conquer the Rebels at some point. The "Rutherford County Being the SEC of TN HSF" belief is gone. Rutherford schools may look good against Cookeville, Lebanon, Warren Co., Coffee Co., etc but in the grand scheme they aren't the "elite" that we are forced to believe that they are. Williamson has by far overtaken the Boro is the midstate's top area of high school football in 5A/6A.

In case you need a reminder of the last time Ravenwood played a RuCo power.  This was 11-1 Ravenwood vs Blackman in the playoffs in 2013...

Sorry again to our Dobyns-Bennett folks about my misspelling. I understand the pride thing. I don't understand how a Dobyns-Bennett fan has such a stance on a Riverdale coach needing to leave or that be a ministration is fat and lazy much less 10 parents boycotting a coach to leave. What are his transgressions besides Riverdale taking second fiddle to Blackman and Oakland of late? I remember he had gotten sucker punched and attacked by a student last year. He has been there for years but has he been a bad teacher, mentor, disciplinarian, etc? What are the reasons for firing? Not winning a championship? Edited December 18, 2015 by TheRealTruth

If you knew anything at all about what has been going on in the Riverdale program you would know that the only cancer that needs to be cut out is Coach A...

Been a supporter of this program since 92 and have seen all the highs and lows. You know as a coach yourself when a program has been driven in the ground and your not doing anything to help bring it back then any respectable coach would move on. Its at the lowest point ive ever seen since 93...its truly sad whats going on there..
