Ok, so he was their offensive guy. I understand now where you're coming from with the name.

Coach Mathis was a 3 year starting qb at Calhoun. Signed at Cumberland University back in the day. I believe Ross was a linebacker at Cumberland during the same time.

I don't know Mathis I just know that he is the coach that supposedly bought land in Jasper highlands and was planning on starting the construction of his house soon. He is CRR BFF so who knows. Coaches tend to follow each other but I don't see how he could help him as a DC. I've just heard that the players like him, but also heard that if he leaves then regardless of talent it's gonna be rough
