So where is the jamboree?

According to someone's post on here showing the rotation it should be at SP. I don't ever remember it being at LV like someone said it was to be this year. Maybe my memory is just gone with my age. It's fine by me if they always did it at Jasper, if it meant not having to go to Grundy, Dunlap, or Whitwell. All 3 of those places seem to have the worst problem with skeeters and other aggravating insects. Jasper and SP seem to be the best options in my opinion. Edited by PiRaTe._.MiKe

Coach Grider is charging $25 for the jamboree ticket. Admission includes a mini corndog as well as the cover charge for D60's halftime entertainment.

Barney you are full of mess. I garuntee you Grider will have an empty stadium if he is charging $25. Does D60 think he is a durn movie star now? What kind of mess is a mini corndog? That is just Grider being cheap. You think im joking but im not.

    • And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet, city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.
    • Sad deal. Hate it. So the coach that kicked her off is now fired??
    • Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
